App uses data for the ©Apple Maps but your device will cache this in its memory for super efficient data usage. Optionally, you could open websites in the app by clicking a web link of a business that you are viewing in the database. Data charges may apply while viewing these links depending on your telecom provider. You can also disable cellular data usage of the app in settings if you want to disable all data usage but data usage of the map is very minimal.
